Care.com, one of the largest online platforms for finding family care and care jobs, has announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to Dallas, Texas. This strategic move signals a significant step in the company’s expansion, enabling it to scale operations, attract top tech talent, and foster innovation in one of the nation's fastest-growing tech hubs.
The new headquarters will be located in Dallas' Uptown district at One West Village, 2801 N Central Expy. The recently renovated office space provides the infrastructure necessary to support Care.com’s growth and workforce expansion plans. The relocation is expected to position Care.com to better serve its community of families and caregivers, particularly as it continues to address the pressing need for accessible, reliable care solutions.
Brad Wilson, CEO of Care.com, expressed his enthusiasm for the relocation, saying, “Relocating our headquarters to Dallas is more than just a move – it’s fuel for our next chapter. As we tackle one of society’s most pressing challenges, joining a bustling tech and business ecosystem will help us further accelerate our mission to make finding care for loved ones simpler, faster, and more accessible, giving families peace of mind and caregivers greater job opportunities.”
Wes Burke, Chief Human Resources Officer of Care.com, emphasized the long-term vision for the company’s presence in Dallas, stating, “We see Dallas not just as our next stop, but our long-term home. This city has innovation baked into its DNA, making it the perfect place to grow our talented team alongside other online marketplace businesses in the area, to make a lasting impact on the local economy.”
Care.com’s move to Dallas comes as the company continues to evolve, serving an ever-expanding market. While the headquarters will be based in Dallas, Care.com will retain its offices in Austin (TX), Salt Lake City (UT), Shelton (CT), and New York (NY), in addition to its robust remote workforce.
The relocation is set to take place later this spring, with Brad Wilson and other executives transitioning to the new office. The deal was facilitated by Garrison Efird, Steven Rotter, and Marcella LaHara from Newmark, with OliveMill Holdings as the property owner.
Since its founding in 2007, Care.com has become a trusted resource for families seeking a variety of care services, from child and senior care to pet care and home services. The platform also offers tailored corporate benefits packages, household tax and payroll services, and job-finding innovations for caregivers. As an IAC company (NASDAQ: IAC), Care.com is well-positioned to continue its mission of connecting families with high-quality care solutions across the country.
With its move to Dallas, Care.com is not only solidifying its position in a thriving tech hub but also reinforcing its commitment to improving the caregiving landscape, both for families and the caregivers who support them.
